For vehicles with metallic paint, be careful to use Bilux type paint, without the use of clear coat or mixed in the color, or sprayed on the finish.Max Meyer 1921-3205 thinner or Universal 1921-4320 should be used.- For vehicles with pastel paint, Duralit-car type paint (two-component direct gloss) can also be used. Gymkhana, test skill of rider

Gymkhana, test skill of rider

‘Moto Gymkhana’ type event in Japan is open to debate, it most likely took place in 1964. Murayama Motors, a motorcycle dealer in Tokyo, had a club called the Tokyo Trail Club and ran the first time attack trial in their car park. The whole idea behind the event was to have fun with the customers, promote their dealership and, of course, sell motorcycles!

Equal parts technical time trial and motorcycle meet-up, the sport of Motogymkhana has been slowly but steadily spreading it’s wings across the world. Originally developed in Japan, it was quickly and enthusiastically adopted throughout Europe and Asia. Now it’s popping up around North America but our response time has been much slower.
One of the many skills that make this motorsport—one that is open to all levels of riders—not just a great challenge but also an excellent idea.

Circuits are comprised of an assortment of cones, set up across a large, flat area—usually a parking lot—that requires the rider to demonstrate their abilities at navigating their bike around tight corners at slow speeds (often staying in first and second gear) combined with little bursts of acceleration along the most efficient lines, to keep the time down. Throttle and braking control, weight transfer, balance, and timing are of the essence to successfully maneuver around a Gymkhana course.

Vespino it’s not in the ciao family

Vespino it’s not in the ciao family

Vespino is a moped , designed by the Salamanca engineer Vicente Carranza and manufactured entirely in Madrid , Spain , which began to be manufactured in 1968 by the company Moto Vespa SA , founded in 1952 by Enrico Piaggio, with the help of Banco Urquijo. Vespino has more than 20 different models.

"L" model (Luxury) from 1968,

" GL " (Grand Luxury) from 1973,

" SC " (Super Comfort) from 1980,

" ALX " (reed intake) from 1985,

mod XE (electric starter)

" NL " (New Look) from 1990,

" F-9 " from 1992,

1995 " VELOFAX ",

and the last 1999 " F-18 "
model to be manufactured.
After almost 30 years of production and 1,800,000 units manufactured. It is that after the undeniable success of the Vespa in Italy and other countries, Piaggio decided to land in Spain, specifically in a Madrid factory located in the Ciudad Lineal neighborhood. The first of these mythical motorcycles was manufactured in it, a 125cc that would give way to many more.
However, at the end of the 60s, users demanded cheap solutions for their mobility. The Seat 600 has become the best-selling utility vehicle and has allowed Spanish families to have cars, when a few years before most did not have that option.
Talking about the Vespino is talking about the youth of hundreds of Spanish bikers (and from other countries to which it was exported), since for a little over three decades it was the "initiation bike" for many of them.

The Vespa 160GS, produced from 1962 to 1964 , is the sports model that replaces the GS 150. At that time represents the Vespa model with displacement highest ever produced.

Vespa 160 GS, 1962 - This was born to continue the market success of the first GS, with a completely new design. The exhaust silencer, carburettor and suspension were also new. The power output was 8.2 bhp at 6,500 rpm.In the next set is adopted, for the first time, the front trunk, attached to the back of the shield. Represents the best of production: it is fast and elegant, reaches 103 km / h of speed maximum, due to 8.9 hp of maximum power. It is produced in a single color light gray and coupled with the saddle. Will be replaced in 1964 by the Vespa 180 SS.

The frame and all sheet metal parts are identical to those of the GS 160 Series 1. The front suspension is similar to that of the PX series, with suspension and damping in one element. For the first time, the standard spare wheel is housed under the left side panel and hidden with a semi-circular metal cover. Aluminum trim strips on the side hoods and front fenders break up the line between the bulky sheet metal parts. The rubber mat known from the smaller models is in the step-through.
